Emotions are such beautiful things. They’re with us our entire lives, influencing every decision we make. They are what allow us to experience every aspect of life. We feel pride, envy, lust, hatred, joy, trust, fear, surprise, anticipation, sadness, anger, awe, disappointment, remorse, optimism, and so much more in our short lives. Emotions may not be tangible, but you can’t argue their validity. They are real to every person who feels them on a daily basis.
So what’s so different about love? You feel it and its emotion just the same as all of the rest, do you not? How is love any less real or any less valid, just because the word is misused? If you ask me, love is entirely underrated. When I say I love someone, I say it because I feel it. Not because I think it. People should remember that love, in its true form, is an emotion, and not a logical response. Love comes with time, and changes with age. It has the ability to come and go, just like any other emotion. Embrace it while you have the chance, because you may not get the opportunity to feel it again.
